Meet Kathy Carpineto and her
Daughter And Grands
Kathy enjoys sharing the importance of beekeeping with others; she is pictured here with her daughter and grand daughters on National Kids' Day at the local YMCA with her observation hive.
Kathy recently earned her Journeyman Beekeeping Certification. She is an active member of the SC Mid-State Beekeepers Association (SC MSBA) and the Lexington County Beekeeper Association.
Kathy is a registered nurse full time, and when she is not at work, you will finder her outside tending her bees and working outdoors in her garden.
Honey harvest time is a family affair; her sisters and daughter and granddaughters and niece jump in to help get the honey extracted and bottled. This year Kathy participated in local farmer's markets and sells to friends and neighbors.
